Birth Doula Services

As your birth doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational support. During the prenatal visits, I help you draw up a birth plan, and discuss your specific desires for the upcoming delivery. In addition, this is a good time for us to talk about any questions, concerns, fears, past experiences or any other thoughts you may have on your mind.

You will have access to my cell number and email and are welcome to contact me with updates from your doctor visits. From 37 weeks and on, I will be on-call and available to come to your home or meet you at the hospital when labor begins. I will then remain with you for the duration of the birth and one hour postpartum.

My postpartum visit includes lactation support and any newborn assistance you may require.

Childbirth Education

Whether you are a first time or experienced mother, I can help you understand the ins and outs of childbirth. I will help you learn what to expect, what sort of decisions you should be prepared to make, and how to create a customized birth plan. Included in this service are 4 private study sessions for you and your partner in a location of your choice.

Lactation Consultant

Breastfeeding often looks so easy, and looks can be deceiving. Oftentimes, breastfeeding can be a challenging task, yet when met with support and wise tips, can culminate in a healthy, successful journey for both mom and baby. Whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed or combine with bottle, the choice is yours, and this service can help you navigate the best outcome with the least stress.

Prenatal Massage

Nothing takes its toll on a woman’s body more than being pregnant. Enjoy a soothing, relaxing massage to help with achy backs, thighs and other tense areas.

In addition, prenatal massage can also aid a breech baby turn into the correct position for delivery or position a head-down baby in an optimal position for a smooth delivery.

Postpartum Doula

Need help caring for your newborn or multiples, or learning some valuable “baby-tips”?

A postpartum doula can help you care for your child during the daytime hours as you balance your other responsibilities, or during the night time hours, as you catch up on much needed sleep.

Health Coaching

Who wants to have more energy, sleep better, lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle? Just about every single one of us. This one area is not relevant to only expecting and birthing mothers but to every member of every family. However, it is often a challenging part of a mother’s journey in life.
